Mount Abu - an oasis in the desert

Mount Abu, the only hill station in the state of Rajasthan, is one of the renowned tourist places where thousands of tourists come to explore Rajasthan. Located at the distance of 156 km from Udaipur, it is a must see place in the state. Located at an altitude of 1220 meter above sea level at Aravalli Hills, Mount Abu is surrounded by forested hills. HOW TO REACH MOUNT ABU:
By Air: Debok airport in Udaipur is the nearest airport in Mount Abu at the distance of 210 km. You can take taxi from here to reach to the hill station in Rajasthan.

By Train: Abu Road Station is the nearest railway station located between Delhi and Mumbai Line.

By Road: Mount Abu is well connected via road to all the major cities of Rajasthan. It is 185 km from Auaipur and 505 km from Jaipur. There are regular buses from Udaipur and Jaipur to Mount Abu. You can also take taxi from any corner of the state to reach there.

Gaumukh Temple: A small temple dedicated to Rama. It is centered on a spring garrulous from the mouth of a marble cow.





Govt Museum: Set up in the year of 1962 within in the premises of Raj Bhawan, it is a must see place in the hill staion.





Mandakini Kund: A source of water to Achalgarh fort, it is a perfect place to explore where you will also see the sculpture of Parmar Daravarsh situated close to Achaleswar Mahadev Temple.





Nakki Talav: Located in the heart of the hill station, it is a blue artificial lake gauged from the earth by gods (it is believed and the myth).





Dilwara Temple: One of the finest Jain temples in the state, it was built in 11th and 12th century.
